Who We Are

Indivisible Greater Kalamazoo (IGK) is a volunteer-driven, nonpartisan grassroots organization dedicated to defending democratic institutions, promoting civic engagement, and ensuring that power is accountable to the people. We stand against authoritarianism, we stand for our constitution, we fight for progressive policies, and we support leaders who reflect our shared values.

We are part of the national Indivisible network but operate independently, responding to the needs, ideas, and energy that bubble up from our local membership. Our guiding belief is simple: democracy depends on ordinary people standing up, speaking out, and working together.
